Trailshead Lodge

This was a decent stop on our hiking journey this autumn. There is no cell service in this area, so getting directions from the lady working here was really nice. She was not the most outgoing but when we got her talking about our hike thus far, she perked up and gave us some history about the area. I hope that her day improved. I got sweet potato fries. They weren't the greatest, the oil taste was a bit strong. I'm hoping to come again next year, maybe earlier in the season when the oil is fresh. I understand the work that goes into changing grease and cleaning out the traps so it makes sense for them to put it off. I enjoyed the jukebox, it brought back a lot of childhood memories. All in all, this was a nice end to our day. Many thanks for being a part of this autumn's hiking trip.

Nice to have the owners walk around greeting people. As we left it was nice to have the owner say thank you for coming. Enjoyed a nice meal at a reasonable price. Very clean facility and restrooms.

They have everything you need to ride. Which is nice if you forgot gear or didn't have any. Reasonable rates for renting. Staff was a little grumpy the day we were there, which doesn't leave a good impression.

Spotless Thanks Todd , Julie , Duane ,Jen for your hospitality great food and even better was the local stories , you brightened up my day coming off the ranch before the snow fell.
