Black Hound Bar & Lounge

Very nice on ambience. More upscale bar with very good artisan style cocktails. The bartender was amazing and she took very good care of us. I recommend and would go back.

One of the BEST places in all of Manhattan for delicious speciality cocktails and the food is just delicious. The atmosphere is intimate and mood perfect. The staff is friendly and very attentive.

This is one of our fav neighborhood places. I love that it's not overcrowded or overrun with tourists. The experts at the bar take their cocktails seriously (as do I) and elevate the overall experience. Lovely cocktail menu with old favs and new inspirations. I've taken one star off for ambiance. You guys need to get rid of the TV. Most nights it's very chill - great, low lighting and music that fits the style of the place without being demanding (I hate places I have to yell to be heard). The TV at the bar really ruins the ambiance. Folks don't go to a speakeasy to watch TV, the news or a movie. Anyone who puts sports on should be fired immediately. Go next door (or any other pub in FiDi) if you want to catch a game. Blacktail, a new Cuban-speakeasy nearby will give Black Hound a run for its money. I'm hoping it stays true to it's intention and even pushes the speakeasy theme a bit more. Please keep an eye on the ambiance.

Terrible attention. We were waiting about 10 minutes while the girl talking with a friends. We just leave out. Don’t go. There a lot of places in NY with kind people.

Cosy atmosphere. Good loungy music. Cocktails perfectly executed. Rather quiet place that let you speak to your neighbour without screaming.
