Blackadar Boating

Blackadar was the only rental service willing to rent for a Middle Fork Salmon river run from Boundary creek in September. We rented a 12'6" oar framed raft with all mandatory gear provided and most anything else was available if we needed it like tie downs, drybags and life jackets. All communication was answered via email in a timely manner with great detail and respect . The boat was delivered right on schedule and was ready to load when we arrived after a long day of travel from the east coast. We arrived at the take-out early and so did the team to deliver our rental car and pick up the raft. They helped us unload our gear and were a really helpful team. The raft was a bit back heavy for its size but that was because we required an empty front seating area to flyfish. We learned to control it and it confidently handled all of the rapids. Can't recommend them enough!
