White Otter went above and beyond my expectations. I ended up going by myself, and am so glad I did, as they made sure I had a great time and treated me like family. Top notch staff, equipment, photography and food. The trip had the perfect amount of excitement, and the views cannot be beat. Our guide, Cedar, was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, skilled and had a great sense of humor. Guiding, managing, and keeping a raft full of people with different personalities safe cannot be easy, but he did so flawlessly. I have, and will continue to, recommend White Otter. Definitely the highlight of my summer, and is worth every penny!!

What a fabulous day on the Salmon with family! Stanley, Idaho is my favorite place on Earth and the Salmon River is one of the main reasons. The folks at White Otter Outdoor Adventures helped to make our river trip easy, enjoyable, flexible, and fun! Three people in our group floated in inflatable kayaks (duckies) and I floated in a paddle raft. The river is mellow and scenic with just enough white water to make things exciting! Also, our group saw a river otter, a beaver, a bald eagle, merganser ducks, and a fawn and mother deer. What an enjoyable and memorable day! There was even a photographer to take pictures of folks floating through the first rapid! Awesome!!!

It's hard to imagine anything that could've made this trip any better. The White Otter crew treats their clients like #1guests. We were so well taken care of, even picked up from our residence and dropped off after the float. The food provided by Sunbeam Cafe was exceptional, fresh and creative. We were impressed they were able to meet all of our crazy dietary demands with such incredible flavors. Our guide, Alisa, was a blast! Obviously, this outfit hires only the most friendly and professional staff. We are definitely coming back!

We came back this year, to this company, because of the fantastic experience last year. Alisa was our guide and she was awesome. The whole experience, from check-in to the end, was great and we couldn't have asked for better. Walk across the street tot he put-in. Raft an extra couple of miles past the other company's take-out spots. And right next door is the Sunbeam cafe, also run by the same family. Food is all home-made and the service and surroundings can't be beat. Great photos taken through the first rapids are available for sale when you get back to the shop. Thanks, Doug and crew, for another great experience--loved it!
