I came in here at 11:38 AM AND LEAVE WITH NOTHING AT 12:40 yes I’m highly pissed!! The lady ask what I was having I told her what I wanted, and I go check to see where my order was, her reply I didn’t do her ticket but let a white person come in she running behind they ass for a tip. I loved this place, but they forget my service, never again All I get after wasting my time sitting is a sorry we didn’t get your order.

Horrible customer service!!! Called for over an hour and no one answered the phone for a pick up order. When I arrived, they were very nonchalant, told me that it would be 20 minutes on the order, I've been here for 45 minutes, just getting my order with no apology for the rude customer service, the elusiveness of the owner and waitresses, and just plain disrespected. I've been patronizing and recommending this establishment to the public for years, but not anymore. I hosted our family Christmas Dinner here 2 years ago. But, Boateng won't have to worry about me, my money, nor referrals again!!!

No clue how the food is because i never got my order after being there for over an hour! Got there at 8pm at 8:05 i asked some guy do we seat ourselves or what because no one said anything to me. I set down at a table and a min later they tell me to move because they had to clean. Ok so I moved to a booth 15min later she finally brings me a menu and i put my order of gumbo in at 8:30 so I didn't order anything hard or that would take very long to prepare. There was only 8 people in there when i got there and at 9:08 when i finally had enough and left there was only 3 of us!

Delicious food, amazing staff who are well educated on the menu. Tiffany was more than helpful, courteous, and is one of the best waitresses I've ever had the pleasure to dine with. I highly recommend grabbing a plate of friend green tomatoes with your lunch, as well, because they rival what my momma can cook! Boateng's truly is "Bessemer's best kept secret"!!

I have nothing good to say at all, we waiting 20 minutes before anyone ask us do we want a table, waiting 15 minutes before the waiter came waited 30 and the waiter came back and said they were out of what I order. Then he came back and told my husband they was out of what he order. One waitress took napkins off one table and gave them to us the same waitress came to the patio and was yelling to her customer from one side to the other side asking do you need anything. Then 20 minutes after that we got our food that was warm not hot. This has TO BE THE MOST GHETTO RESTAURANT EVER IN HISTORY!!!! I Live in Houston and travel for business and this was absolutely pathetic.
