Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill

Been several times, it's always clean, the servers are always courteous and attentive, the prices are reasonable, the food never takes too long to come out, and it's always delicious. Consistently, every time. Everything I have tried there has been really good. It's traditional Cajun food, so there are a lot of options that are fried and there's a lot of seafood, but there are plenty of things that aren't fried or seafood. There is something for everyone. My favorites are the Catfish Pontchartrain and the Bayou Chicken because they both have this amazing shrimp and crab stuffing that is the best ever topped with Crawfish Louie sauce. So good every time.

Wonderful as always! Bayou chicken with Cajun mashed potatoes is my fav! Bread pudding is a must... Always have great service too!

I WOULD NOT EAT HERE!! My family and I went to have dinner at this establishment after visiting the greyhound tracks, and while eating my parents recognized that on the platters there was rust. Their food was laid directly onto the rusty platters without parchment paper or anything. This is a health hazard! Once we told our waitress she notified the manger at the time, but all he did was take the trays and take the two items off of our ticket, but we were still paying over $100 for what was left of the meal. This establishment is overpriced, and is preforming unsanitary and hazardous choices for platting. A photo has been added to their library on google.

Didn't know the shrimp and grits could be messed up, but they found a way to do it...very disappointed. Cajun St3amer has been one of my go to restaurant to invite friends out for dinner and cocktails. Will be more careful in my selections....

Very nice bar atmosphere, great service, food is good, but is very overpriced for the portions. I ordered counut shrimp cost 10.99 only got 6 shrimp. Also had the Bayou po-boy with alligator meat it was good but almost 15.00 dollars, I could have bought a steak for a little more than that with 2 sides. Over all its a nice place to have lunch or dinner, but there are better places to eat and it won't break your wallet.
