Hike through the preserve for beautiful scenery...the steep hills up the tower are a challenge but fun. Me and my 7year old did it just fine. $7 to get to the top of the tower for a nice view. To all the people complaining about the elevator being broken. It's been broken for like ten years get over it. It's a historical building, walk up the steps get some excersise, stop being lazy, and appreciate the beauty of it. If you're injured, old or have bad knees then appreciate it from the bottom and save your $7

A casual place with fresh food cooked to order. Reasonable prices and friendly staff in a laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for any occasion.

I am acrophobic but somehow managed to do the climb. We paid them $30 for our group but they should have paid me $1,000. We walked through the surrounding park for free. There's really nothing out here so avoid it unless you are a history buff. It's an easy drive to I-95. I prefer the Jersey side of the Delaware.

It was a magical day. Being up top of the hill the Tower is on allowed us a whole different experience. Hopped a squat in the wooded area with a blanket, some tunes & shared our outlook on life, love, humans & what our purpose should be. Just became one with the land, watching a dozen red tailed hawks play above us in the sky. With the overcast haze it looked like a painting came to life...it was majestic! Most beautiful day I’ve ever experienced. Clean bathroom/portapotties allowed us to spend the day there without having to deal with the hustle & bustle of crowded Main Street. There are also benches and bbq grills to cook on so u just need to bring charcoal & some grub to have a perfect picnic. We actually over stayed our welcome & had to be escorted by park police to unlock the gates & let us out! The officer was very nice & had a great demeanor to him. That was much appreciated considering we were just enjoying the land, that is for all of us. So just a heads up this particular area closes at 4:30pm (at least during the week). It’s not a typical from dawn till dusk area. The rest of the park is just not Bowman’s Tower. Check the local signs as u enter.
