This is the first time I went to bridaltown. I never experienced it when I was getting married so wanted to take my sister. I called last minute for an appointment and they were able to accommodate us within a few minutes however once we got there we understood why. The place is really run down, it looks like it's falling apart from the outside. From the inside it's nice but it smells musty. The dresses are beautiful but not big of the selection for someone that's plus-sized. The prices did seem reasonable but this is somewhere I wouldn't recommend for someone that wants a pleasant bridal experience.

I went to Bridaltown in a pinch. I needed a dress fast and affordable. Having seen the negative reviews and the state of the building, I was very skeptical. However, Linda, my consultant, was so pleasant to work with. I dropped in on her on a Saturday without an appointment and with no idea what I wanted, but with a budget less than $500. I also needed a dress that wouldn’t require alterations. She didn’t make me feel like a burden or pressured at all. She really took the time to help me find my perfect dress for a reasonable price! My dress did have a faintly musty smell, but it was clean and in good condition. I blame the smell on the building which they are moving out of soon. There is also a pretty decent selection of gowns. I had a previous experience that was pretty awful, and it really disheartened me to finding a dress that I felt like a bride in. Linda and Bridaltown did me a great service by lifting my spirits and finding me the right dress.

So here's the deal on the four stars, the outside structure looks abandoned and dilapidated. Inside the boutique is dated and has an old smell if that makes sense. Also the lights in one of the bridal rooms had electrical problems because it took 20 minutes to actually turn on after we flicked the switch.  Other than that, Bridaltown is an amazing boutique for bridal wear. I found the most beautiful gown here and was able to pay at my own pace.  It took me 9 months to pay for my gown and the staff never rushed me to make payments. I also had a great experience with my consultant Phyllis. I would definitely recommend this place for brides who want a more intimate shopping experience.

Service was great. I picked out a few dresses i liked and after trying them on i wasn't as thrilled with them on me. The lady who was helping me picked one out and i fell in love with it. I probably wouldn't have picked it out myself because it didn't look great on a hanger it was more simple than ones i picked out. But it looked great on me. I was just recently informed its in and i can't wait to try it on again! Oh and they were having a sale and my dress was so much cheaper than ones i saw David's bridal (even if David's bridal were having a sale). They have great payment options too for a bride on a budget. Don't be fooled by the rugged exterior of this place. They're great

This place is awful.  We went in because I'd made an appointment and Phylis was waiting, watching out the window when we arrived.  I felt badly and wanted to give it a shot, even though the building had piles or construction - type trash on balconies, was held up with plywood, and had broken rubble everywhere.

The Bridal Consultant (if you'll call her that) had me try on size 8 dresses.  I explained my pants size is around a 12, making me at least a 16 in bridal.  (Let alone my 38J cup size). She didn't let me take my pants off, or my bra. The website proudly proclaims 5000 dresses.  Upon entering I'm told 'that's not their website, just an old advertisement.'

This place and consultant/owner are about 30 years past their prime.  Phylis, if you are not the owner, get out now! You are super friendly, and with training could do wonderfully at any other store!
