Don't go here. The staff cannot even tell if something is gold or not. That is, without etching the metal......even then they would not take 22k?? Their loss, as I went to a competitor near South Park (Check em out). Let's put it this way, when one associate down at the competitor saw what I had, there was NO questions. Anyway, they do not know how to tell if something is what it is, and; their prices came in way lower than the competitor. Don't trust them-

I went in to try and get my new watch sized to my wrist, a few links needed to be taken out. I want to start off by saying that the man who helped me was incredibly nice and helped me right away. Unfortunately he admitted that he wasn’t familiar with the brand Shinola, which is fairly surprising for someone with watch experience to say, but I assumed he could size it none the less. He has some issues and some of the links were extra stubborn. He said he was sorry that he couldn’t get them out after maybe 40 minutes or so. I understood and went home. It wasn’t until today that I saw how marked up he had made my watch trying to get the links apart. I noticed he was being a litttle rough but thought it was normal. I’m pretty upset that my brand new, never before worn watch now has some scratches and dents. They’re not HUGE so I’ll get over it but not the quality I was expecting. I’m sure if he was familiar with the brand he would have known to be more careful, this watch is more than $800. Update: after bringing it to a real watch repair shop they were quite amazed by the damage he managed to do. I recommend Sumpters Jewlers, they were able to size it within 5 minutes.

I go back to Brownlee for the excellent customer service. Michelle and Jessie are so nice and friendly. They remember me each time I stop in. They both worked with me and made my purchase very enjoyable. I will keep coming back!! THANK YOU!!

Julie was absolutely fabulous. I came in to get a pin put in my watch and she noticed that the battery needed changing and did that for me. She noticed my ring and talked me in to getting the rhythm of love pendant to match my ring and cleaned my ring and the watch that I got repaired. Of course I will send my husband back to purchase this "no pressure " Christmas gift for me. She is so great at her job and I will be back to this University location to buy from her. Thanks for hiring her. She truly is the face of what business is about at Brownlee. Great Experience. Satisfied Customer!

My wife and I went to Brownlee Jewelers on the reccomendation of our local insurance agent. We visited to get my Grandmother's antique engagement ring repaired. Unfortunately we were told it was too damaged to repair, but they said they would be able to make a new ring identical to the one we brought in. We were delighted. It took about 6 weeks but when the ring came in We were called and we hurried in to get the new ring. We were awed when we saw the new ring! It was gorgous and we were thrilled. The staff was very patient and were not satisfied until we were satisfied. My wife and I will definitely return to this store for all our jewelry needs.
