Budget Truck Rental

I rented a truck from Budget on Kirkwood highway for $39 on October 31st. I traveled 20 miles and returned the vehicle in 2 hours still on a full tank of gas. My card was charged $103.00. I've called several times and nobody has called me back in 5 weeks. Very unprofessional.Finally 6 weeks later Bob calls me back with a nasty attitude telling me he had left me 3 messages. I received none of them. I had to call the mother company who said the truck wasn't brought back on a full tank. I can't prove that now, so they have just gotten over on me for $39.15 which is what they charged for 1/8 tank of gas! Be careful. This company is CORRUPT!

Our truck was ready. Our service person was very professional. He saw our needs and was able to make excellent suggestions. The only thing I forgot to ask about was straps.

The guy running this place is probably the rudest, nastiest person I've ever dealt with. I called the Budget on S. Chapel street in Newark, and they were all booked. The man I spoke to on the phone was the nicest, most motivating (reassured me I wouldn't run into anyone and total the truck) person ever. He transferred me to the Budget on Kirkwood, and the guy was horrible. Kind of reminded me of the old man in movies who would sit out on his porch with a shot gun to intimidate a neighborhood kid or dog who stepped on his lawn (not dramatic at all). Anyways, if you're moving, which is stressful enough, avoid this place, because not only will you be even more stressed, you'll end up feeling sad, defeated, and scared to return your vehicle. Call the place on South Chapel...seriously, that guy was amazing.

He was very ride rushed me out the door when I got my truck made it sound like the insurance was only 7 dollars when it was really 37 his a huge scam artist and very rude I would get my truck any where else next time

Omg please do not go here!!! Such a horrible experience!!! The old man at the counter is rude as hell. I walked in smiling and said good morning and he just held his finger up to tell me to hold on customer service is horrible then he threw a fit because I didn’t have the back of my card signed. If this wasn’t so last minute I would have went somewhere else!!
