Burger King

Went through drive thru and didn't even stop for 5 seconds and the food was good to boot?? How'd they do that! Obviously they are the wizards of the fast food game 🙌

Okay, it's a bit strange to review a fast food place, but the manager here makes every experience (especially during the day) very very pleasant. He's so friendly no matter how you order (drive thru/in store). He always strives to make things right if they aren't exactly correct. I can't say anymore good things about him...he just is a pleasant person to encounter.

Yesterday (11/27/17) my husband & I went to eat at your store & as I pulled my little wallet, some loose bills $40 (2 × $20), fell out to the floor that I did not notice. After we ate our burgers, on our way out my husband wanted ice cream & when I pulled my cash, I realized it was gone. I inquired at the counter if any of the employees have sern my fold up cash or if any customer saw or turned in my lost cash. That's when one of your employee named Clarissa Thompson said , yes one of the customer found my cash on the floor right there at the counter area but would not turn it in. The girl was a friend of her friend. She tried contacting her friend to get the girl's phone # but was not responding. so Clarissa said she'll keep trying, She took my address & phone # so when she recovers the money she'll let me know. Later that aftetnoon she called me said she's bringing the money to my house. I was so happy but when I asked her if she recovered the money, she said she was covering it for now and will try to get it later. Her friend said the girl is not reliable & might not give it back. Out of the goodness of her heart she volunteered to give me her own money. How many employees would do something like that. I suggested that maybe management can cover that. I am commending her for such generosity & honesty. Hope you would acknowledge her exemplary trait & excellent customer service skills. She needs to be rewarded for such extra measure of care. They do pretty well for BK. I have never had a bad experience at the location in Brookings, SD. Only complaint I have is that they shut down their drive-thru an hour before they're supposed to. It's noted on Google and the BK site that the drive-thru is open until midnight every night, but whenever I drive past after work around 11:00 PM, all their outside lights are off, including the drive-thru menus.

A little outdated and not the cleanest, but the staff is nice and there usually isn't a wait.
