This was a good hike, but wish we would have waited. I would recommend taking this trail after May. It was still quite muddy and snowy, which was fine for adults. Kids didn't enjoy it as much, because it was difficult for them with the conditions for first 1/2 mile. Would have been amazing trail and scenery st the right time of year. We went early April.

Gorgeous place to watch the sunrise and sunsets! Fairly quick hike. Perfect place to read good book and mediate.
