I couldn't be happier with my stay here. The cabin was inexpensive and cozy. The shower house was nice and warm during chill fall evenings I was there. It was quiet because I was there in October. And above all it was clean. I will absolutely stay here again. It's actually a good reason to visit Pierre and explore the area.

Dogs without leashes at camp ground area. By the fishing pods dog owners drive with their dogs outside the car letting them run no supervision. This is happening because park rangers aren't doing their jobs. Makes me not want to come here. Making a nice place terrible. State law says dogs must be on leashes.

Nice place. Mosquitoes were unbearable. Hardly anyone outside after dusk. Staff was friendly. Plenty of room. Nice area. Mosquitos ruined a 4/5 star rating.
