The owner was nice and really selling us on the "best New Mexican food" personally inviting us for lunch. The food was good, not necessarily the best.
The live music was nice and there was a store to buy NM merch in the restaurant.
The service was frustrating. They won't do split checks (granted we had a party of 9). One of our group was given the wrong burrito (one no one had ordered).
During the meal, a clump of pineneedles fell on one of our group's plate, and the waiter dismissively "ah, it won't kill ya" before awkwardly offering to change plates with fresh beans and veggies, offering napkins for him to brush it off.
The most inappropriate aspect was at the end of the meal, the waiter came out took my card, handed me to iPad to sign & add tip and said "Here, you can just hit the 25% tip there" pointing to it (next to the 20% and 15%). Pressuring customers to tip 25% on the spot was rude and uncomfortable.
25% is a great tip for excellent service. Service here was subpar.
Won't fault the restaurant for the actions of one waiter but was not a great experience overall.

Friendly staff, good New Mexican food, great coffee, and a surprisingly good beer selection.
Old adobe structure on Canyon Road in the heart of Santa Fe's art scene.
They have a vintage cigarette machine converted to dispense art. An "Art-o-mat"
Breakfast here is yummy!

Went to Caffee Greco in the off-season (early Feb) while walking Canyon Street. It seemed like a quaint, well-reviewed restaurant, but my mother and I ended up so disappointed! They didn't have the ingredients for the Chi Chi or the vegetarian enchiladas we ordered. Chips and guacamole were so-so, but price was $10 and the guacamole did not include anything other than avocados. The guac also came in a small container you might serve tarter sauce in. So small. I ordered a chicken-stuffed sopapilla and found a sizable chicken bone in it. The restaurant was kind enough to comp the dish for us, but only after we asked. We’ll skip Caffe Greco next time we visit Santa Fe.

This is a nice place to breakfast and lunch if walking the Canyon Road galleries. Standard bacon and eggs was good. Can have more Santa Fe type items if desired. For lunch, we had the green chili enchiladas. Excellent.

Bland, tasteless food. I'm not sure how you mess up guacamole, but it is basically just mashed up avocados with no onions on tomatoes. The tacos we tasteless and the only flavor in the burger was grilled mushrooms.
