We had taken our 2 dogs here for the last two years and had no issues until the new ownership happened on January. Since then, an employee left our dog unattended in the front area, so she jumped over all of the gates to get to the front door, where luckily my husband was still at. The employee then lied about what happened, but the video showed the truth. We were told we would be called by a manager/the owner, never happened, nothing was done, no consequences to her actions. Then last week, our dog was being too rough repeatedly with another dog, so they put her in time out. Fair enough, I understand that and I want all the dogs to be safe. However, my dog was in time out for an hour and a half, after being put up for an hour for lunch. So no playtime for two and a half hours, even though that’s what we’re paying for. Then when watching the videos, we saw that the man in the back with the dogs was constantly on his phone, not paying attention when other dogs were more aggressive, and only yelling at them to break them up. Also, we saw him grab our other dog very aggressively when we came to pick her up. My dog acted scared and like something had happened to her for 3 hours after we picked her up from camp. I was told by an employee that the new owner only cares about quantity of dogs, not quality of care. For the safety and health of our two dogs, we will not be returning to Camp Bow Wow. I highly suggest not bringing your dogs there.

I echo the experience of Anne E. below. Our dog had an overnight during Labor Day weekend, and I too obsessively watched the cameras to find that my dog played no more than 30 minutes all day long. Our phone call and voicemail that weekend also was not returned. We were so frustrated that we picked our dog up early on Sunday. When we expressed that we did not feel comfortable paying full-price for the service, the on-site manager informed us that they were understaffed so the dogs did not have a normal play schedule. The manager told us the owners needed to approve a refund, and she would have the owner call us right away. No return call for over 3 weeks. We called 2-3 times per week for over 3 weeks requesting a follow-up call from the owner. Refund eventually denied.
The facility has explained that when they have too many dogs and not enough caretakers, play schedules are minimized to maintain safety of dogs. I do not, however, think it is fair to charge customers the same price for a day with 30 minutes of play time when customers expected their dogs to receive much more than that.

If I can give them 0 stars I would. There's been an influx of poor employees, man handling and abusing the dogs, and the manager uses his electronic cigarette in the faces of other customers, which I find disprespectful. They're also very condescending and act like they don't care. Don't take your dog here if you love them.

I love how pleasant everyone is and how tired my dog is when I pick him up! 😊🐾
I brought my dog here as a puppy so that he would be well socialized. It's been a year and a half and he still goes at least once a week because he loves it so much!

Camp Bow Wow is a great place to take you pups! They are kind, reliable, trustworthy, professional, and make your experience very convenient for you and your needs for you and your pet. I LOVE that they have an app to watch the cameras in the dogs' play rooms. We are boarding our dog for the first time in a couple weeks and knowing that I will be able to check up on him on camera makes me feel a lot better. Thanks to Camp Bow Wow, I don't have to worry about my dog while I am on vacation. I know he is in good hands.
