Candlelight Inn Restaurant - Rock Falls Illinois

All of our food was very good, prepared well and enjoyed by everyone in our party. We tend to share our dishes so I got a good variety.. All of the seafood was tasty and the Chicken George didn't disappoint. Every side was delicious. I really enjoyed the Power Salad. Service is lightening fast even though we were there at a busy time. Our server was really nice and efficient.

I had Grilled Prime Rib, excellent. My wife had a Shrimp 3 ways platter, loved it also. The Boomboom shrimp starter was great. To be honest the clam chowder was flat. We're coffee lovers and the services top notch. Still enjoyed our visit.

The chicken George is everything I was told it was...in a nut shell, AWESOME! The restaurant is well staffed and provides fast and great service. The food arrived quickly and was presented nicely.

I visit Rock Falls once every few years as I am in the area for work. Candlelight in has always been the place where we make it a point to dine. Their prime rib is excellent and the salmon, although small, is an amazing option. Of course the chicken George is a staple as well. Something would need to go horribly wrong to have a bad experience here.

The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. I had Rockefeller Salmon perfectly cooked. My granddaughter had chicken tenders (from the regular menu)there were lots of them, and they were delicious she had 2 more meals from it. My son had the fried chicken and every time he bit into it you heard the crunch he loved it. Wish we weren't two and a half hours away or this would be a restaurant we would frequent.
