The Hope and Anchor English Pub

The food is amazing. I had The Sampson can't recommend it highly enough. 14 oz coffee crusted butterfly pork chop in a creamy bourbon sauce served with Yukon mashed potatoes & vegetable medley.

Don't make it here as much as I would like, but every time I do the food is fantastic and service is very friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this place. Fish and chips always good. But I also recommend the coffee encrusted pork chops.

This place is a nice place to go. I've gone here on many occasions and many different days. I've gone to see music I have gone to just eat dinner and I've gone to have a drink with my friends. My wife plays in the band The Fire Light dimmers. It's a nice place to have a meal and listen to her sing Lounge music. I like all of the selection of English food. I usually either get the fish and chips or the shepherd's pie. The atmosphere is dark and cozy they have a pool table and chess by the fire. There's also darts and a ring game that's pretty interesting. Hands down this is the only bar around that can make a decent snake bite. My favorite is a Guinness and Strongbow. Most other places you'll get a snakebite that's kind of mixed but here it's clearly divided and a really good experience. I think this restaurant is a well-rounded restaurants that offers many different atmospheres Under One Roof. I've never been dissatisfied with their food quality or their customer service. I will continue to go here and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my experiences here.

First visit. Food was delish and the service was fantastic. Prices were also reasonable.

We went here to hang out on an early Friday afternoon. We had appetizers and spirits. It was quite dark here but the English theme was fun with comical names including a reference to Monty Python. I held back one star as I haven't been able to visit on a Friday night. Maybe soon.
