Cape Charles Coffee House

Updated review in May 2018. The great taste of their food compensates for the lack of good service. The “barista “ is a guy who is super rude and needs to learn how to manage his stress. They will not sit you as you get there nor will assign you a waitress. You have to figure things out. At least this was the situation on Memorial Day Sunday. They are lucky the competition is scarce. Overall, come in and enjoy a great breakfast. Just be warned if the above. One of the highest points of my visit to Cape Charles at the end of September 2016 was this coffeehouse. They do not only serve coffee. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It does not appear to be as a spacious as it is. It has a fantastic ambience and the servers are very nice and kind. Service is fast and very efficient. They have a very simple menu but everything is really delicious. This is a must when you are in Cape Charles. It is fairly close to the beach, about a couple of blocks and there is plenty of parking right across the street.

This is an amazing shop. The wait staff checked on us very often. The food was great. The food came out very quick and we cleaned our plates. The coffee was very strong and hot.

What a GREAT coffee shop for breakfast or lunch. They make this Italian pastry that is so absolutely delicious! We are fortunate to have The Cape Charles Coffee House there for us every morning and afternoon. Thank you!!!

This is my favorite brunch spot! Food is so good, we are always greeted with a smile, and the coffee is to die for. We will travel from NC to spend the day in the area and we always make sure to leave early enough to grab breakfast.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and quaint. We had Sunday brunch there yesterday. The pancakes were so amazing, I didn't want to put syrup on them. They tasted like a large fluffy donut. We ordered 2 pancakes to go. Thanks, but no syrup needed!! What a wonderful way to enjoy a Sunday drive!
