Captain George's Seafood Restaurant

Love going to eat here on Sunday. They food is always delicious and I have enjoyed eating here so many times. I have also found out that if you want hot hush puppies or hot fried oysters and ask your waiter or waitress, they will bring them out to you from the kitchen. The staff is very attentive and asks if you want drinks as well as clears off the tables without being asked. One thing....PLEASE tip the waiters and waitresses, they tend to get stiffed for some strange reason.

We went here after my graduation. It was packed, but what an amazing experience! The food was great, the staff was amazing, and the people were very friendly. They made me and my 22 guest feel right at home. If you love seafood and you're in the VA. Beach area, you'd do yourself a disservice if you don't have a meal at Captain George's! Go hungry and leave stuffed, but very happy! 😉

This place is always packed, so they are doing everything right. The food choices are plenty and the crab legs are always bountiful. This is a huge splurge, but so worth it. We love all the dining rooms and the bar. The bathroom is always clean and they have an attendant with all the extra, so give the guy a buck and play it forward. The desert bars are loaded with a lot of delicious choices as well. This is a really iconic VA Beach Seafood restaurant and should be enjoyed as often as your credit card will tolerate.

Love the restaurant and food, however they should have a cheaper for the elderly who can't assume a lot of food. The menu isn't an option because it cost s much if not more. Food should be fresh until closing. We went about 9:00 pm at the ocean front and the platters we empty, looked like was at it's last leg. You may close at 10:00 but I pay the price and I want hot food. My husband and I are elderly and I only go up one time so don't go anymore. Price is to high for cold and old food.

First time visit, we are vacationing from Connecticut. For the price, AWESOME! Food was good, Loved the Crab legs (which is worth the price alone), good variety of food to choose from, desserts was good also. Servers we had was excellent, very attentive, kept our table clean of used dishes and the bowl for the shells empty. Not once did we have to look for them, they were there re-filling glasses and seeing if we needed anything quite often. Went there when they were just opening for the night, was concerned about variety at that time, but I think it worked out to be the best time to attend.
