Uptown Buffet

I have been eating at this spot since 2007 but never again. I was there tonight and saw a roach inside the ice cream case. I immediately informed the waitress. She looked at it, said ewww and proceeded to wait on the guest. I went back to my seat while mom was paying the bill. A couple of minutes later the waitress grabbed a napkin and went over to the ice cream case and then threw the napkin away. I was appalled. She should have removed all of the ice cream in that case so no one would eat it. We left but because this still bothered me I called the store and explained what I witnessed. The lady apologized for the inconvenience and said she was going to check the ice cream case to make sure the roach was gone. WHAT! I'm not sure why they continued to allow people to eat that ice cream but they will not have to worry about me eating anything from there ever again.

This place is pretty garbage. There were ants by the sushi which seemed like the only things enjoying the food. Along with flies near the fried food/ Chinese section. I’m not sure what all the 5 stats are for especially since I’ve tried this place over and over, multiple times, convincing myself it would be better the next time. The food is greasy, and grusumely stale. Sadly the price reflects quality: cheap. It seems like they changed owners a year or two ago and it went down hill from there.

Food was pretty good, okay selection. Didn’t care for the chicken here unless it was the ones tossed in hot sauce. The mashed potatoes were good and the Chinese food of course was good. Mac & Cheese extremely runny and watery tasting. Good sweet tea. Service was nice.

Will not go to this restaurant again. The price is reasonable, BUT our waitress, Lucy, RUDE, the Food, well, duck was not cook completely, the salmon full of bones it really looked like steak fish. Buffalo wings Aweful, more like boiled wings and they poured hot sauce on them. The apple pie, bland, and apples mushy. On vacation and I PROMISE you we will NEVER come here again. The Atmosphere was Aweful, BEWARE!!

The food here used to be great ...I dont know what happen but they need to do better the food sucks now ..
