Pier 23 Restaurant

We have been coming here for 10 years. The family who owns it are Greeks and the restaurant has a home feel to it. We love the option of the buffet but also the friendly environment.

Love this place...the people are awesome the food is awesome and we go everytime we are in Virginia Beach. Every time we get great service and great food! Love the staff too!

I give this restaurant 5 stars it's a great family environment and is also a family owned business Kevin and his family are the most amazing people i have ever met!.

My wife and I spent our anniversary on Virginia Beach and decided to have dinner at this place. She ordered the chicken and shrimp parmesan and the sauce tasted like the once you buy from the store (ex . Jar ragu) We have been to many "real" Italian places to eat and you can tell that they make their sauce from scratch from the way that it taste. This place is far from that. You are better off going to Olive Garden if you decide to eat at a fake italian restaurant.

My chef salad was amazing! Their ranch dressing is homemade I believe and delicious; not thick but healthy tasting. The clam strips and fries hit the spot. The cranberry juice was not too sweet which I like too. The cheese in my daughter’s grilled cheese sandwich was not melted all the way. They have a breakfast buffet but not a lunch/dinner one. Was not told I could still order breakfast until 1500 until I inquired about it; was handed a lunch menu right from the beginning. May need one more person on staff or cooking in the back for a shorter wait on food. The place is dated and booth seats are torn open.
