This is a geology beauty! The cave here is nestled in a rock cliff. Wear hiking boots because it is wet and muddy. The camping here is quiet, clean, offering opportunities to walk and enjoy nature. Make sure you go to the store before you get to this city. It is about 30 minutes away from a store.

We had a nice sunny day visiting Cave in Rock. My daughter loved her first ferry ride and climbing the bolders. The water was up too high to get to the cave, but we'll go back soon so she can see the cave. We ate lunch at the park restaurant and the food was really good. This visit we also went to the mineral museum in Marion which was great. Next time we'll go to the Garden of the Gods along with Cave in Rock.

Great place to go for a walk. The beach is amazing and the cave cools you down when it's hot outside.

I loved the food at the lodge. They got me at the strawberry butter and the strawberry lemonade. The area had too much water to see the cave.
