Char Restaurant

Elegant, but still accessible. This is a great "special occasion" restaurant, so go ahead and put on a jacket (or dress, for the ladies) and appreciate the setting as well as your meal. The staff is properly dressed and their service was fantastic. We met friends for a meal and to catch-up on each other's lives. The restaurant is formal, but you can relax and be comfortable with your fellow guests as the staff serves you some wonderful food (not to mention wine and cocktails!). It definitely makes for a memorable experience!

I had dinner with my daughter this week to celebrate Mother's Day early. The food and the service was simply wonderful. Char is my favorite restaur. Anyone to knows me says, we already know where you want to eat. I recommend this restaurant highly.

The food was great! My family and I went on a Sunday and it was busy but we were seated rather quickly. The food came out on time and our waiter Brad was the best!

From California. Been all over Mississippi from the North to the South and everywhere in between. I make sure to come visit this establishment as many times as possible when in Mississippi. Char is easily the BEST restaurant in the state. Outstanding, top notch food and execution, and customer service is 5 Star all around. Truly a must visit if in town.

I got the salmon which was delicious, I also had macaroni and cheese and braised cabbage. All good, could have used a tad bit more seasoning. Our server was great overall excellent experience.
