Bully's Restaurant

My first time eating here and i love it. Amazing southern comfort foods, just like grandma used to make. Sweetest and friendliest staff. Large portions for a great price. Found a new favorite place. You will leave full and happy.

This is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at in my entire life. I literally ordered so much food, because I couldn't decide what to eat. Although the place is small and is a "dive" restaurant, everything is home cooked, seasoned perfectly, and the lemonade is absolutely perfect. The door was basically a revolving door from everyone coming in to order take out! If you come to Mississippi for any reason, make this a stop on your journey to have the BEST soul food of your life. The single thing I would change about this place is that their cornbread is not sweet.

They have the perfect name bully because they bully you out of your money. Ask if ask if you want a refill but don't tell you they're going to charge you the price of a full drink. And the prices are reasonable. The reason for that is if get a scoop of this and a scoop of that. If you want to eat and get full this is not the place. They get zero stars in my book. Oh and by the way the food is not that great!

This is a long time Jackson soul food restaurant. It has been visited by many celebrities local and non local. The food is actually very good. In some cases the wait can sometimes be a little long but it's not totally their fault. That tends to happen when you have a lot of customers a very small building and limited seating. The prices are okay probably could be a little lower but the food is good enough you won't regret it. Only other downside is making the kind of money they make they could stand to consider a move to a bigger and also newly remodeled building.

I fell in love the first time my daughter took me. Today was my second time and I am still in love with the food, and service there. Mr Bully and his staff are so nice. They really make a person feel special and welcome. 😀
