The Iron Horse Grill

I had my birthday dinner there 4/21/18. Everything was wonderful except for when I received my bill. I used to wait tables and my tips were based on my performance. I took pride in in assuring that my guest needs were anticipated. I didn't like that you took my choice away from me by including tip in my bill. The young man would have received more if we all would have had the option to give him what we thought he should have. He missed out on a $100 tip all because the tip was included in the bill.

Super busy, fun, and hip place. Expect to spend money but the food is amazing. My boyfriend had the chimichangas and I had the bayou pasta. Both were amazing. You get a lot of food for the price you pay.

I got the burger with mushrooms and loaded baked potato. it was suppose to be cooked medium well and I asked them to not burn it. When they brought it out the burger was very black and dry. when I went to take the pickles off I noticed the pickles looked like homemade sweet pickles. I put the small pickle in my mouth and quickly found out it was jalepenos. Couldn't spit it out fast enough. The other 3 people with me had no problem what so ever.

This place was really cool. Atmosphere was fantastic with a historic vibe. Food was excellent (I had the fried broccoli and stuffed catfish). And the wax museum upstairs was icing on the cake. I'll be back next time in Jackson!

Service was outstanding. Jose was great. Came in from Texas and felt right at home on my birthday. Hands down this place was great. Food so tasteful. Everything ordered was amazing. I will be coming back next time I am around these parts.
