Barrelhouse Southern Gastropub

We had a fun small foodie meet tonight for First Thursday. Although it was busy during first Thursday, our food came out fast and hot! I ordered the beef meatballs with parmesan cream sauce, the meatballs were moist, well seasoned and loved that it was slightly fried on the outside. Now listen here, this dish is only $5 during 4pm to 6pm social hour! That's a steal! Try all of them! 🤣 The won ton tuna nachos were great, nachos wasn't oily at all and the seaweed salad was great on it. It was a pretty light dish for nachos. Duck fried wings were crispy, I wanted a tad more seasoning, but the fry on it was 👌. We all ready enjoyed our food. The service was amazing! Food came out quick, pretty nice place for food and drinks. Food: 4.7 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is wonderful! The drinks are delicious and they put a generous amount of alcohol in them. This is one of my favorite places to go for dinner and drinks. The country Cuban and tuna nachos are amazing!

The food is on point. I recommend the tuna poke nachos. The service is a big hit or a big miss. However, I don’t recommend an evening drink here during the week. Twice I’ve been where the manager thinks it’s slow enough (even though there were still a small handful of patrons) at 8:45-9 to make a last call, turning the lights up. And, the lights are so bright by 9:15, we are basically being told to leave, even though google says they are open until 10. So, if it’s a week night, and you’re looking for an evening cocktail, I don’t recommend it. Try a place that stays open until it’s posted hours.

Barrelhouse has great food. Their customer service is good and their prices are acceptable.

The food is not seasoned. The chicken was extremely dry. The drinks were not good either. The customer service was exceptional so for that I give 2 stars. I wanted to like this place!
