Pearls Southern Cooking

Went to this establishment looking for a great soul food buffet because I had been seeing wonderful pictures online...very disappointed. The young lady took our order and payment up front and automatically assumed I wanted sweet tea, ( I didn't). It wasn't much to choose from on the ( buffet ) line because there were missing entrees. The salad bar is cooked thru a cooking system and not ice like other restaurants so the lettuce was shriveled up and warm. I'm not sure if cheese comes in the salad bar, there were two empty spots that might have been for cheese (?). The food was ..bland. like school cafeteria good. And for some odd reason the section we chose to sit in, the cashier made us sit somewhere else even though it was patrons sitting in that area. I don't know why. I think I drove across town for nothing. But at least I supported.

Wow nice place to get home cooking had the pleasure of meeting the Mayor of Jackson Ms today he was eating also 😀

Great Southern cooking service with a smile and courtesy polite staff. Buffet style. Can not be beat. Mrs. Carter is Awesome

While driving through Mississippi on our back home to Alabama, we googled good home cooking. I must say it was better than good...it was great!
