Rooster's

Rooster's is a Jackson institution by now. My only complaint with it is that it is no longer a mile from my house but its location in a historical building in Fondren gives it a cool vibe. Rooster's is one of the holdouts who will cook a burger to order and no fast food burger can measure up to the juicy and delectable flavor of a medium cooked burger. They make their buns too which are delicious although they are a bit soft which can make eating the burger a bit messy. During our most recent visit the onion rings were perfection and the fries were good but a little over salted.

Wonderful burger and tasty curly fries... although they were a little to salty for my taste, it dusted off... staff was wonderful too

The staff was nice. The food is delicious! You get your money's worth plus some!

The chicken cutlets are the best in Jackson and they're sides are divine. Their cheese grits are way better than Primos. They have the best red beans and rice. They're tea is very good and the chicken tenders are top shelf.

Ordered a hamburger with chedder jalapeno bread to go and got white bread. Was good but not what I ordered. Onion rings are great..
