Chatfield Hollow State Park

Chatfield Hollow State Park is a fantastic mix of terrains, landmarks and recreational and educational opportunities. With trails and walkways having a wide variety of accessabilty, the park is available to anyone. There is a nice swimming area (unguarded), new toilet facilities and an informative nature center. Be sure to also check out the mill pond and water wheel and the covered bridge over one of many babbling brooks, stocked with trout.

Lovely park. It seems they're still working on clearing debree from the recent storms as I came across a few large fallen trees. Overall, beautiful. Can't wait to explore a new trail next time.

Pressure gov 2 keep open. enjoyable. Loosing ground with closures vs higher taxes freedoms and debts!!!! Richest state is broke and broken!!!!! Should i go on?...rt 84 disaster now rt. 8. Tolls 4 the thrills!!! Cuz dumb enough 2 get up and go 2 work ruining cars on pottholes on risky infrastructure at best. Takes from old lady!!! Income taxes arre temporary. Took 20 yrs. 2 raise enough 2 raze them down!!!! Mayors and presidents have protected our parks for generations for the goodness????

Would be nice if I didn't have to pick up other people's trash during my hike. Nice place for a hike and hopping fishing spot.

A park i grew up hiking and fishing in years ago. Great trails, from easy to moderate. Good rock formations and peaceful picnicking bear a waterwheel at the north end.
