Chemin-A-Haut State Park

A very nice place to come and camp for a family get away. Our camp host was Southern friendly and a joy to talk too. The bathhouse is brand new, warm, and in excellent order. They even have washers and dryers, I just hope idiots don't destroy them. The scenery around this place is a great value for learning. However, for some reason, someone let someone else check into our spot (that we paid for well in advance) and they clearly were NOT us. Also, some full hookup sites would be REALLY nice. The asphalt could use some updating also.

Beautiful park. Nice lake. Has a swimming pool. No hiking tho, mainly for relaxing and cooking out. Three dollars per person to enter for the day.

I've always loved this quaint little state park. Our church held its color run there and afterwards we had our praise team band along with lots of food and worship. The park staff never had s problems with any of our plans, nor did they charge us anything more than $3 per person to get in. Also, their dand never Olympic size swimming pool and children's pool opens on May 26, 2018, well, today.

We love this place! Great camp ground, great cabins, pool, play ground and the ladies keep the facilities in pristine condition!
