Peaceful Pines RV Park & Campground

One would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay! The owners and manager are on site and are so very helpful! Laundromat, bath house, swimming pool and a pond! And so quite and serene! We love it here!!

Really great place! Our sight was a little tight for our 40 footer but the owner helped guide us in. The campsite is really quite and our sight is private. We've had a pleasurable experience.

My husband and I are a couple of old farts who very much enjoy traveling in our RV! But good people out there I think we stayed in a different Peaceful Pines RV Park then some of these critics on here because WE LOVE IT THERE! 2 years ago we attended a wedding in the little town of St Francisville and thankfully the park (who we won’t mention) we were to stay at...let’s just say didn’t have our spot. We were then directed to Peaceful Pines and we couldn’t have been happier. Dawn personally went and cleaned up a beautiful shaded spot that someone had just left from and with a smile got us taken care of. We have been back twice since and met her parents Larry and Chris and they are WONDERFUL people and am very sorry that their wonderful attitudes and love and pride for their business was mistaken for being drunkards cause that right there is not the truth! They treat you like you are part of the family and run the park with much love as they tease and joke together. We are sure Miss Dawn is missed by all. Sure the park is not brand new the bathrooms are old BUT ALWAYS CLEAN! Even saw Larry and Chris do that themselves (that kids is true dedication and pride) !! I don’t know any REAL camper or RVer that needed a brand new place to sit their backsides on to do their business ANYHOW I MEAN REALLY! And the permanent people that stay just add to the character and family feeling if the beautiful park. We plan on returning there often as it is peaceful, beautiful and just a warm place to be. I hope everybody that reads the negatives will read this and consider a different point of view. We are Peaceful Pines lifers and proud of it! God bless one and all!

Stayed over A month in cabin much better than motel I would do again it was quite, an comfortable with wash room,pool room ,swimming pool

Against my better judgement I have decided to revise my review. Up until our resent stay we have been fans of Peacefuk Pines RV Park located IN SAINT FRANCISVILLE, LA with an address on Hwy 965. As you can see the owner of the RV Park suggests we were not speaking of this park but YES we do have wits about us and travel often and do know the places we stay. We sadly enough were not treated with the same friendly environment as we had been before. We filled out no registration and my husbands name was given when we made reservations which again our intelligence was question and we were told we did not make reservations because the man at the office, whome we had to call multiple times when we arrived (at 3:00pm) argued and I guess believes mistakes are not made there. We received a less than desirable spot with problems that reluctantly he addressed when he “could” we were forced to pay cash because he could not figure out the charge card machine and when we inquired about the husband and wife that lived in the house who used to manage the park a tacky remark about her being “let go” was made. Anyone with sense would know that was in poor taste and doubt that was even the case after what we have experienced. It would kappear to us the owners are very arrogant and believe customers don’t know where the are because they shared a negative experience about their RV Park as if that is not a possibility. As everyone can see there are a few negative reviews but ours was singled out and questioned and questions about who we are?? We slightly feel threatened by this and don’t feel we have to give you anymore information aside from how we felt about our time at your establishment. Usually an owner will take those comments and look into things and be grateful things were mentioned so they could improve and win back the business. It would appear that these owners are not caring about return visits from us because not only was our stay unpleasant but we have now been insulted. The park for us no longer a pleasant place to go. There is people walking around talking loudly all hours of the night and things felt unkept. I would hope instead of publicy questioning the wits about people who wrote an RV Park review for your park that was not what you wanted to hear you would want to make things right or just apologize and accept maybe that was not a good day...instead you immediately, ,just like when we checked in, tell us we are wrong. There is a review that stated the owners make it clear that they are boss when you arrive and one that said needs to hire someone to clean the place up as well as sites unlevel etc etc and what we said was not that far off from anyone else, again I ask why were only WE addressed? AND THAT FOLKS IS HOW YOUE MAKE AN UNPLEASANT STAY WORSE! We have a right to post our opinion and not have to guve proof we were there or anything of the sort. Good luck to the owners of Peaceful Pines we hope no one else had to go thru the headache of what starts out as the right to voice about an experience (good or bad) to the owners asking if we knew where we were and questioning the integrity and honesty if the review is not what they want to hear!!!!
