Cajun Palms RV Resort

We stayed at Cajun Palms during the week for a rally. It was very quiet. The clubhouse was great for the rally meals and happy hour. When we checked in the staff said they were very strict with the golf cart drivers and noise and please notify the office if we felt anyone was not being compliant. The facility is very well laid out with a beautiful pool area (which we did not use--just looked at when we drove by) nice long pull through sites and nice grassy area between the sites. This is a well thought-out resort. We were told that they will be adding many more cabins and RV sites in the near future. The only problem is the highway construction coming off I-10. Not a problem with the Resort, but just something of which to be aware when getting here.

My opinion of this park severely declined towards the end of my stay. They had already attempted to double collect rent twice before. They charged me a hefty chunk of money when I left, that was unjustified. I fought with them to keep them from charging me yet again after I had already been gone. They booted me out due to Easter holidays and forced me to pay a weekly rate, costing me much more money. This was all they had for an excuse, that I was weekly. Both my months rent had previously been paid. They were and incredibly difficult to reason with. There are much nicer parks in this area for less cost and hassle.

This place is beautiful. Has a nice pool for kids. A 18 over section at the pool for adults. Had live music Saturday night. Big play area for kids.

The park is well kept, with plenty of space in between rigs. The reason for the 3 rating is their lack of common sense when it comes to peace and quiet. I understand rocking the music at the pool and bars on the weekends, but it is Tuesday, and there are very few people in the park. The workers just crank up the music and the thump, thump, thump of the bass is quite annoying. I called the office yesterday to ask them to turn it down, but they are back at it today!

Very nice park. If it says wifi on sight it does not mean free. You have to purchase from a second party. Plenty of adult areas.
