Awesome place to vacation, not super crowded like most popular beaches. Wild ponies are amazing. Lots to eat and do around town. Everything is within walking distance. The KOA is a great place to stay, well kept and clean facilities

Stayed at the star haven and it was great! We had five people and a dog and everyone had plenty of space . We were so close to everything we needed and the beach was about a ten minute drive away . We would recommend here to anyone!

Great interactions from start to finish with the office. Started the reservation process months ago, got there and get the keys, got to the house and was exactly as it showed online and talked about with staff. Got the Ship's Wheel on Main, great place, fit 4, 2 adults and 2 kids perfectly. All the necessary items needed and the location for the pony parade was perfect, right in front of the house!! Will be back.

The management team was friendly and helpful, but the cottage "Island Re-'Treat'" left much to be desired. It was severely outdated, the fire alarms were unplugged, and the oven caught on fire the first time we tried to use it. It seemed to be clean on the surface, but upon closer inspection, the sides of the bathroom cabinets were filthy, and the entire cottage smelled like pet urine. Of course, this is to be expected in a pet-friendly cottage, but it was quite strong even for a pet-friendly accommodation. It was apparent that the management team only spent as much money as was necessary to make the place livable and not a cent more. My husband and I, both, feel as though it was EXTREMELY overpriced for the quality of the accommodation, and we will definitely choose a different rental company the next time we visit Chincoteague. Our recommendation: spend your money elsewhere! After a day exploring an island as beautiful and amazing as Chincoteague, you should relax in a cottage, hotel, or cabin worthy of this spectacular destination!

Stayed at the Ashworh house on Accomac Street. Cute house and great location. There was no grill as advertised, but that may has been a good thing given there was a large propane tank in the next lot. Sleeps 5 but has old sofa and you could do 6 if that person isn't alergic to dust. Not bad but not great. You get what you pay for. It was nicely decorated, however, and clean except for dusty broken pull out sofa
