Absolutely love the Chippewa State Hiking Trail! There are multiple places to exit and enter the trail. It connects to the Red Cedar State Trail which is another amazing trail! Tons and tons of amazing sites to see, dog and kid friendly! An absolute must for anyone visiting Wisconsin!!

Ride,hike,or walk along the old" Milwaukee road "railroad that took the place of the steamboat along the beautiful chippewa.Plenty of places to picnic, nature watch,or let yourself be transported back in time as most of this path has not changed in the last 130 years.The trail is well maintained. There is a fee for bike use, but not for walking.
