Great place to spend the weekend. This campground is clean, well maintained, and perfect for star gazing. Sites 102, 104, and 106 are in a field, with hills and trees along the edges of your site for privacy. This leaves you a completely open sky for star gazing which is pretty cool. The bathrooms were super clean, some of the cleanest I have seen at a state park. The hiking trails were nice too, though the few of the lookouts left a lot to be desired. The canoe launch area is nice, and it’s an easy spot to do some trout fishing too. Overall would definitely recommend this park for a quieter place to get away.

One of the most beautiful areas within the entire state, great camping and amenities, you can rent tubes and canoes to also float the river.

Beautiful area. I've been there in summer and late fall. I can't wait to get there again and see the leaves change colors. Nice hiking trails

Absolutely beautiful....from the top of the mt at look out to the bottom of valley at river launch...love this place

Beautiful area, quiet, bathrooms are clean and the showers are HOT. My only complaint is that the sites don't offer much privacy.
