Willow River State Park

This was a great day for birds. Eagles were in the sky all day hunting near the river. There were cedar wax wings stuffing them selves on tree buds. A small flock of blue buntings seemed to be pairing up and of course fighting for the right to breed A great blue heron let me get very close. There was a fly catcher calling, but I couldn't get close enough to see it.

This is a great park in Wisconsin but close to Minnesota. I have been a few times and always have a nice experience. Last time I went was in April, and there was a beautiful snowfall. Go here and explore the park and then go enjoy the rest of Hudson.

Nice park. Better than some of the others I have been to in Wisconsin. Well maintained, maps are good, trails are marked really well. The falls are really cool, especially in the spring when they are way up. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Very clean. Kind staff that makes sure stay is pleasant. The park is beautiful and the the river and water falls are beautiful and great photo opportunity. I would stay all summer if I could.

Beautiful waterfalls in Wisconsin. Would highly recommend going here in the summer. The park has an admission fee.
