Choza Taqueria

Edit: Heard back from the manager, who provided a true apology for the service failure this morning. He provided a coupon as a tangible sign of his concern. Bumping up the review to 3*. We went here for dinner one night and breakfast the next morning. Burritos were good in flavor and size. However, my carnitas burrito had flavors that weren't supposed to be in there - including jalapenos and pineapple. Dinning experience a solid 4. The breakfast experience was miserable though. Two workers ignored me as I stood at the counter for over 3 solid minutes, finally begrudgingly taking my order. I was charged for items I didn't order, noticing the bill was high but not seeing the charges until I got an email receipt. When I pointed it out, the person who took my order threw her hands up and wouldn't deal with it. The other worker treated me like I was the one that had done something wrong, finally refunding a lesser amount than what I was charged. On my to-go order, no silverware was provided so I asked for some and again got a hands thrown up response. Food was very small, but at least good.

Great food and Service. Pleasantly surprised by the freshness and taste of the food. This place is small and the Gotham Market is crowded, finding seating can be tough. Portion size was decent.

The burritos are very good (average size you would expect) and filling. The service is fast, but the counter help can be nicer.

A more accurate menu would only list one kind of burrito: the Rice & Bean. How was my Rice & Bean burrito you ask? Besides the faint hint of pineapple and the strand of chicken, the rest was a royal disappointment. The same can be said for the other burritos as well. Good thing for their chips and guacamole. They each carry a star for this review.

Ridiculously hot inside market. No air. We asked to cancel our order after waiting. Spent 5mins trying to get the cashier and the person standing next to her to understand then rudely was told NO and tacos shoved at us. Won't go back
