We went in as a family at 10pm after a show for dessert. We had a cheesecake, a peanut butter brownie sundae and an apple crumble. They were all tasty, and presented nicely. The service was good, everyone was very pleasant. Prices were pretty reasonable for the location, $7-$8 per dessert. The facility was clean; maybe a little dated, but we liked the vibe.

We have frequented this diner numerous times while in NY. Excellent consistent service. The manager and waiting staff have gone out of their way to make our experience truly memorable. Shout out to Javier for bringing that special hot sauce. Just visited again and again...same impeccable service. Thanks guys.

Food is great. Service is excellent. Even though it's packed you will be well taken care of. The service is great and they remember everything exactly as we ordered. I don't like bread much but liked their bagel toast with butter. We waited for 15 mins before we got a place but it's worth the wait. When we got out there was a big line so getting there by 9:30am is recommended. By 10am there will be big line to get in. This is all over the weekends. Not sure over the weekdays though.

I was looking for a drop in place with reasonable food on a Wednesday night & came across the Times Square diner. The staff were friendly & attentive, and the place was around 1/2 full.
Food: Burgers, Sandwiches, fries and so on looked good & the other diners seemed to really enjoy them.
I unfortunately went for the Chicken Parmigiana - my vision of which was a breaded chicken breast topped with tomato sauce & a bit of cheese, served with some fresh pasta. What I got was certainly generous, a massive pile of overcooked pasta with a gloopy red / orange sauce, topped with lots of chicken & even more cheese - too much food, but poor quality.
By all means go here - but for corned beef hash, sandwiches, fries etc. I wouldn't recommend the Chicken Parmigiana at all.
3 stars for this one - liked the classic diner feel, and the American classics looked good. My choice of food didn't work out, but it may have been the only horror on the menu.

Great atmosphere. The restaurant was having a slow night when we went in, so we were able to stay a while and listen to the talented staff and Ellen's Stardust Diner. Food is a little more expensive than I was expecting, but the portions were huge. The chicken fingers is 2 chicken breasts worth of meat, plus you get your fries and onion rings. The singing was really good, and the food was tasty! The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is they let "Walk Like An Egyptian" play 3 times in a row between singers and then used it twice more between singers.
