Chuck's Steak House

We were seated swiftly, in the library (a little nook with some neat character in itself). Our server, Lauren, was on point. My wife and I ordered steaks. Hers was done well, mine quite overcooked for my order. I say this not as a complaint, but to note that the best successes often happen when things don't go according to plan. Lauren agreed on the steak, nipped a new one almost immediately from the kitchen, and it was perfection. Service was stellar, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was casual and unique. Outstanding. Will visit again.

Have been 2x and just love it! It feels like an old comfortable, friendly steakhouse with excellent prime rib & service. Others had steaks which were just as delicious. Full salad bar is great & lots of extras! Has happy hour menu in the bar so it's quite reasonable for a good quality meal. Also fun to watch all the alligators in the water...from INSIDE the restaurant. lol

Everyone was so very nice and very helpful. Your business was packed this pass Friday. Mrytle Beach was packed with the car show etc. I had mentioned that we had 2 friends with us that had never been to Chucks and if at all possible could we have a table by a window. For our friends to experience the view of the waterway. And they really went way up and beyond their way to help us. They had said up front that they could only try. Because off them being so full. And I told them I understood completely. Well within 15 minutes or less. They had us a place. And in fact it was by the water. And it really was a wonderful surprise for our guest. And the drinks from bar was wonderful and our food was out of this world. I will always remember that wonderful experience with our friends. And no doubt we will all be back very soon Thank you again for showing us a wonderful time. With many thanks and a full tummy with a happy smile, David&Sharon

Food was good. Took forever to seat 2 on a Wed night (even with reservation) and literally took an hour for our food to come out after the order. Steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well. Server agreed it was way overcooked, but none of us were willing to risk sending it back (server included). Server gave us free dessert, which took us from pissed off to relatively happy. Salad bar was adequate. Nothing special. Even though my NY Strip was overcooked it was still delicious, as was the other food. I wouldn't be in a hurry to come back, but only due to the wait times. The food was good, but not worth the 2+ hours we spent there.

Great food and atmosphere. John our waiter was very nice, polite and helpful give that man a raise. Salad bar was great, and the complimentary cheese and crackers was good. French onion soup is one of the best we ever had. We eat here everytime we come to myrtle beach. We had teriyaki steaks, crab cakes, and kids ad the chicken finger meals. And the famous large goblet beer.
