Great place that had been in business for a long time. Food is good & reasonably priced. Wait staff is always very friendly. They've redone the inside & it's much better. There's usually a line & now they have an area inside where you can wait. We went off season & early so we didn't have to wait.

Great service. Line can get long because it is popular but it usually moves fast. Their scallop sandwich is excellent. Coleslaw is fresh and not overly creamy. All-around a good value

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a young child with my GRAND parents. I am 60 years old. It is part of my entire childhood and adult life. We eat here weekly at a minimum. The food is excellent and that has never faltered. However.... we went last night for supper and was treated so rudely that I will never return. The owners have obviously allowed their son to take over management and the customer satisfaction component is now gone. How terribly sad for this legendary establishment.

Great local restaurant. The food is regional and delicious. I had a cheeseburger with pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes for lunch. There is often a line, but it moves quickly because they have fast service.

This came highly recommended from a local and so we figured we'd give it a try. The restaurant itself look like a cute ma & pa type place and our waitress was great, but the food taste like late night diner leftovers. I had the gumbo (which tasted like it came out of a campbells soup can) and the flounder w/ shrimp (which was dried out like it had been under heat lamps for a few hours). My heart sank because I'm originally from Florida and seafood is what I look forward to most when I go on vacation. I hope other have better experiences.
