We decided to eat here for a late lunch. I wasn't sure how good the food would be since I thought this restaurant was more about the theme than the food. We were very surprised by the food quality. I had the coconut shrimp and It was the best I had ever had. My fiancee had the club sandwich and she said it was delicious. Service was good and the swirling margarita coming down from the ceiling was fun to watch. We will go back again for the food. It was excellent. The drinks were good also.

Was not very pleased with the quality of the food nor the price's for the quantity of food. We have been there a few times over the years. Don't know what happened, they use to have really good food at decent price's. We had the same food at River City Cafe the next day and it was absolutely amazing and the quality, quantity and price's were excellent. Don't think we will be going back to Margaritaville for a long time. I hope they will make a lot of changes.

We had to wait over an hour to eventually sit down. It was about twenty minutes before a server came to order drinks and at that time, we decided to order our food. Then, it took another 30 or more, even though he said 20 minutes, there were four of us, to finally get our food, fish and chips, jambalaya, shrimp salad and ribs.
The food was very tasty. The sweet potato waffle fries were delicious. The fish was plentiful, 5 nice size pieces along with a side salad, as didn't want come slaw. The ribs were very good, just fell off the bone. The shrimp salad was a good size with plenty of shrimp and the jambalaya was excellent. I decided to order the Key Lime Pie, because "made fresh, from scratch, every day", even though it was $8.50! Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was very small and thin, not at all what was expected for that exorbitant price. I would not order it again as it was not worth that price. The food was rather pricey, of course It's "Margaritaville," a resort area in South Carolina, $18.00 for fish and chips.
There was entertainment, two people running around on stilts, one was dressed as a pirate, keeping the kids busy, with huge balloon creations. There was a "hurricane" in the middle of the ceiling that kept swirling around and every so often it would "make a loud noise" the people on stilts would get the diners all excited, clapping hands, and eventually the lights would darken in the room and down would come a bottle of rum, from the middle of the "hurricane"
The gift shop had plenty of goodies, to purchase, shirts, souvenirs mugs, bags, etc. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Found a lovely zip up cotton hoodie. So, overall, I would give it a "4" for my review.

Yesterday I visited this established while on vacation. I was very excited about visiting Margaritaville because of the recommendations. However, my experience with a bartender name Joshua was the worse customer service I've experienced while on my vacation. I had to ask for a glass of water 3 times, all the while he had poured himself 2 glasses of water. When I asked for the manager he replied he had forgotten because he was talking. I told him that was unacceptable and his response was (with a shoulder shrug)I don't see a problem just don't tip me. I believe that is the worse form of customer service. You are there for the customers, without the customers there would be no you. The manager (Christine) did come out and was very polite and I thank her for that. I work in customer service and it is very important to me. Please consider offering customer sensitivity training to all employees. Needless to say, I will never visit this establishment again.
