Churrascos The Woodlands

Excellent food, top shelf service. I've never had a bad experience here, the entrance is a little weird but its in the North side of the building, so if you're in the parking lot looking towards 45 and Landry's the you walk around to the left side. Great place to eat outside when the weather cooperates, nice view of the little lake. Inside it's all very nice, well heeled appointments. Impressive place to take a date or clients.

Food - some dishes were good, some just okay. Service was good. Ambience fair. Update: Six of us went in for Mother's Day dinner. Buffet was still going and much of the food seemed like it had been there since noon. Quality was low but price was very high.

I read some of the other reviews and noted that the food does take time. Knowing this actually made my time there much better than what I expected. It does take longer than fast food. I sat at the bar (business traveler here) and got served a drink right away. The bartenders were very friendly and quick. The wine was good and the sangria (red) was even better. I had the black bean soup as an appetizer and the churrasco steak for dinner. I was surprised that I got a free side plate with rice,plantains, cheese cubes and sliced peppers. I was stuffed. I will go back and most likely order the 6oz steak instead of the 10oz. Edit: fixed typo

On the Woodlands Waterway. It has a very nice view. the plantain chips and dip are to die for. The food is prepared fresh so expect to wait a bit but it's totally worth it. It's a quiet place to take a date.

The atmosphere was amazing, but I did go in early afternoon. So that could of been a contributor to Churrascos not being as busy. Food was fantastic and had a little bit of everything. Overall, I would definitely go back.
