The Carillon

Stellar service and experience! This was my first time visiting The Carillon and it left a lasting impression. I enjoyed every aspect of my dining experience from the warm greeting by the host to the spectacular food choices. The restaurant had a 3 for $35 option, so I tried the celeriac soup for the appetizer with Chilean sea bass for the main course and topped it off toffee pudding with coffee for dessert. All of it was amazing. They have a new chef now so the menu will be changing in a week, but I'm inclined to visit again to see what changes have been made. Just from my first experience, I have no doubt the choices made will be just as wonderful.

I had a bad experience with the waitress that we had. She tried to use my debit to pay her personal expense for 24 hour fitness. She tried to run my card for more than what was in my account twice and when I tried to go to the atm to withdraw money, my card was taken to avoid fraud. Once I called my bank to find out what happened, they explained that the waitress tried to run my card for more than what was in my account and my account was charged $1 because a charge was trying to go through for the 24 hour fitness. Luckily, I was able to get money from my savings to pay the bill. I will never go to this place again! What a way to spend my mother’s day!

A surprisingly good meal and service here. The food was exceptionally prepared and served, much more gastronomy and fine dining than the average good restaurant. The service was also very friendly and professional. We’d easily recommend Carillon to anyone in town. Sorry for no pics, the food was too good to wait.

Always a reliable lunch buffet, the food is very good, but somehow not remarkable. The location to UT is the selling point, otherwise may not be worth a special visit.

This place was amazing! The food was incredibly good and the service was even better. We will definitely come back here when we come to Austin again. We recommend this place to whoever comes to Austin!
