Boiler House Texas Grill & Wine Garden

We enjoyed our dinner here. The service was fantastic. Our server took the time to explain the options and recommend options that we were very happy pleased with. The wine list was lacking but we found a nice red to enjoy. The pork belly was slightly under temperature which was disappointing because the cuts were so generous and presentation fantastic. The steak, however, was completely the opposite. Well seasoned with the bare minimum, warm and cook just right it was worth the wait.

I love this place! Everything we have tried from the Ceviche, Buffalo Meat Balls, Crepe fish tacos, to the hand crafted desert options...you will not be disappointed. The chefs serve beautiful plated dishes from scratch. All made in house. Matt and Richard are masters behind the bar friendly and ready to serve you a “one of a kind” signature drinks! We always feel like home when we visit, great atmosphere.

Nine senior friends joined me for Easter brunch at this wonderful restaurant. We were delighted to find that The Boiler House was everything we expected & more!! I also offer a heartfelt thanks to Assistant Manager, Mariel, & Executive Chef, Jarad! Over several weeks, they patiently worked with me to provide meal options which accomodated my special dietary needs. Thank you for making our visit so special!!!

The atmosphere is very upbeat and nice. I had the seared diver scallops. They were very good! I have had better scallops at a better price, but these were still good. I should have ordered more food, because my entree didn't fill me up. I sat at the bar and had excellent service!

This morning, while I was biting into my Salmon Margarita Benedict, I felt a piercing pain in my gums behind my front teeth. I ran into the bathroom and pulled what looked like either a piece of glass or a sharp and rigid piece of plastic out of my bleeding gums. In hindsight I probably should have taken a picture but I was pretty shocked and not really thinking about that at the time...this used to be my favorite place in San Antonio to get brunch on the weekends and the place I always recommended to friends, and now I don’t think I can ever bring myself to come back after such a jarring experience.
