The onion rings are to die for. A small order was way to much for two. When we go to New Braunfels, we will make a point of going there! Really good food. Family groups w kids didn't phase the staff. Different atmosphere. Historic cite. Easy to miss on the road. Will absolutely go back.

Great fresh food and hot food. Everything we had was simply delicious. In fact, we spoke to the manager to give her our positive feedback for the customer service and food. Unfortunately, she seemed dismissive of our praise and couldn't relay how the rice for the gumbo was cooked. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is absolutely delicious and they serve you a good sized portion. They claim to have the best catfish around.. I could agree with that. They are always busy, this is a very popular place to eat. It can be a little loud but that doesn't stop us from enjoying ourselves as we eat there. It honestly is some of the best food around. Love this place!

Great food and good service! We have been several times and have enjoyed the food every time. I personally have gotten something different each time. My wife gets the catfish every time and she loves it each time. The atmosphere is fun and interesting and the servers are helpful and cheerful each time. We really enjoy going here and would recommend to anyone. Great place for the family or date.

I think it's a 3.5-star restaurant. It looks neat and has a nice country, rustic decor. The menu is extensive with lots of decent options. I ordered the combo of fried catfish, crawfish and oysters, with came with fries, slaw, and beans. It's not bad but I'm not sure about the claim of best catfish in Texas and the US. The food is fresh and seasoned well, but still just above average. The fried oysters are better than the rest . Service was top-notch despite the 30 minute-plus wait.
