Sambuca

When we arrived around 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon they first gave us lunch menus and we ordered drinks. When we started to order our dinner it was after 4:00pm so our waitress took the lunch menus back and gave us dinner menus when we had already decided what we wanted to order. She dropped off the dinner menus and left us before we discovered that one of the menus was completely blank and the other had pages of cocktails but the food section had been ripped out. At first we joked about it but after waiting over five minutes for our waitress to return I was getting a little put off. That is when I noticed that our waitress was also bar tending. It was after the lunch crowd and before the dinner crowd. We were the only ones in the dining area, but instead of giving us efficient and quality service, they neglected us. We weren't going to let this spoil our evening, so we remained jovial throughout the event. We finally got the attention of the manager, the only person around, and pointed out the error with the menus. He took them but no one brought us new menus. It was well over 10 minutes before we received undamaged dinner menus. The manager returned later and apologized for the delay but the damage had been done and they provided us nothing for neglecting us. Our waitress/bartender was then replaced by another waiter. I have never received such poor service from a "quality" restaurant in my life. I'm glad we weren't in a hurry and I'm glad the food was much better than the service.

Hit or miss. The live music is great... however, the food just isn't. I had one good experience but the second was extremely salty and had very slow service yet in a rush to get you out event though the place was practically empty. I was super disappointed because I wanted to have my wedding reception at The Rice, but you have to use Sambuca as catering - they have some kind of agreement. After that experience though, I would be worried about them serving our guests. :/ I hope they improve because it is a really cute place, lots of potential.

This was our second visit; we wanted to come back because there were so many interesting things to try! Service was great both times, very attentive and friendly! If you’re not sure what to pick, ask for a recommendation! They also have fun cocktails! We’ve tried the duck, oysters (not roasted), both soups, and the lobster rice. We haven’t needed a reservation, but the place is always bustling. The music inside is at a good level for conversation.

I only gave them 4/5 stars because everything was great except our dessert and drinks. Me and my Husband hung out here with some friends this past weekend! The atmosphere is so fun and chill. The music was amazing and our server Whitney was AWESOME! We ordered desserts and drinks, but our bread pudding was burnt and my friends drinks weren’t great.

We hosted a dinner party in the private room upstairs, and have to thank Ian and his team! From start to finish he walked me through the menu choices, the valet service, and table set up. Two thumbs up! Wonderful experience, delicious food, excellent service, and swanky ambiance!
