At first I was unsure, but quickly fell in love with this little brewery. I didn't know it before the expansion but it's definitely a great place to chill out with good beer, good food and good company! Will for sure be back! Fred made the experience that much better with his friendly attitude! Hubby and I truly had a great time!

A great organic microbrewery in a great neighborhood. Excellent choice of beers, great food and great atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating available and dogs are welcome on leash on the outside patio.

Great little place + they just doubled in size. Fun to have a few (or more) of their half pours. Nice variety of good tasting beers. Some a little flat, but could be the style these days? Food also good and a friendly staff.

We tried Cloud 9 last night and we had been very excited because we have heard nothing but good things, but unfortunately our time here was just terrible. We went on a Friday night so it was pretty busy and had to wait for a table. That was fine but when we finally grabbed a table it took a long time to be acknowledged, then more time for the table to be cleaned and then even more time to be given a menu and then more time before we were even asked if we wanted drinks. It took us 2 and a half hours to eat dinner here and it wasn’t by choice. We were really hoping the food would steal the show but it was pretty bland. We got the prime rib dinner and a chicken pesto sandwich (which was still raw in parts) and none of it was exceptional. We also got the blue cheese fries as an appetizer (we were so stoked about this when we saw it on the menu) but the fries were over cooked and crunchy inside and they were absolutely drenched in blue cheese. I really hoped and expected more from this nanopub that uses local ingredients. After spending $90 on dinner we were actually relieved to be out of there. The place was ridiculously slow, service was poor and the food bland.

Idaho's only certified organic brewery has some of the best beer and food in town. I've been impressed over the years at the consistency of the food and service. The classic burger is one of the best burgers in Boise, and pretty much everything else I've tried is excellent. The specials are usually a delicious treat, and the soups are fantastic. I'm an IPA addict, and Cloud 9's IPAs are incredible! Great place.
