Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom

Update: The "pork wings" are gross.... Ate Downtown, was good, Happy Hour! Decided to go with the Philly for the heck of it, it was yummy, I like how old the interior and building are, feels inviting in a "Cheers" sort of way...good beers on tap. I will say that service was a tab bit slow but they were pretty busy so it's forgiven. :) Posting more, went for Sunday dinner and had pizza, watched both USA play Mexico on their way to Russia, soccer, and the dregs of the Stanley Cup at the same time and had a pizza and a mule. Was good ;) :-*

I am so sad to right a bad review but after several bad experiences I feel it may be necessary in order to inform management they need to step it up. The last time I was there the server failed to ring in an appetizer we ordered and our food took almost an hour to arrive. There was an apology offered however, our table felt something more was necessary to compensate for our lengthy wait time and the forgetful staff. I have worked 10+ years in the industry so I know very well how busy restaurants can get. Management should be staffing appropriately for the business of a restaurant in the heart of downtown. Today we placed an order online for our office. The order was placed at 11:45 with a pick up time of 12:15. The order wasn't ready for another 15 minutes when we arrived and when the hostess brought it the pizza was missing toppings and the side salad was missing. The food is good but not worth the hassle.

Food and service was fantastic. Was busy but got right in on a Saturday night. Loved the pizza we had. Steak and beer cheese... It was delicious.

A nice place to join up with big groups. Great variety of food and drinks. Try the spaghetti pie!

Lots of variety. Appetizers are the best. Our waitress was great. Can't afford to eat there every day though. Also sign up for rewards because you get exclusive offers.
