So I always like to check out local places, there is a reason they have been in business since 1959. Great staff, place was packed on a Tuesday night. We had prime rib and a sirloin. Cool 70s vibe, great shrimp as well. A little tough to get to.

One of my favorite places to go in Boise. Place has a great history. Amazing food, cold beer, stiff drinks, and always stellar service. Though they are famous for their Steak'n Prawns, the Halibut Chunks dinner is one of the best seafood options around, period. Love the Stagecoach!

A local friend brought us here for a Boise history lesson and some tasty food. I had the signature Halibut Chunks and it did not disappoint. Fresh, meaty chunks of halibut dipped in house tartar sauce was pretty awesome. Coupled with a pint of Mannys pale ale on tap and all was good.

Always excellent food and service. The fact this place has survived in a very competitive industry for decades without any outside advertising speaks volumes. Bruna (spelling?) is my waitress of choice and always takes great care of us. We always request her section. They are known for their halibut chunks and shrimp appetizers as well as great steaks including prime rib. They have a full bar as well as the decent wine selection and not too bad on craft beer.

I'm bummed out to even write this review. I usually love this restaurant! Our waitress was wonderful and the halibut chunks and bar prawns were super good... However my husband ordered the Porterhouse and half of it was literally inedible. It had so much gristle it he couldn't even cut it. We send it back after eating the edible part.... And instead of getting 1/2 of a refund (which woukd have been fair) or a full one (which would have been good business) our waitress came back and gave us a free piece of cheesecake. We aren't like some free food scammers but it was a gross steak and it was 30.00 for the half edible steak.... short story.... don't order steak at Stage coach!
