The Sandbar Patio Bar & Grill

The Sandbar is one of Boise's recently discovered destinations that has been a great, chill hangout for years. Their menu is best described as a quality lunch /bar menu that presents well and is enjoyable to eat. Their live music is always a cut above and ambles across almost all genres. A full bar is well staffed and the atmosphere is manicured ease.

Great place to go fo outside seating. Good food and service. Be aware that they close for some holidays, like mother's day.

Apparently they got to select who are able to sit inside the bar early? In fortunately we ain’t able to get a drink there. And definitely not gonna go back.

While the food and atmosphere was fantastic I am interrupting my meal to write this review because my family was so dissappointed with the service and we hope this review will help the sandbar improve. There was a full wait staff working but they all were hanging out by the cash register in the bar talking and not serving any of the 3 new tables which showed up around 7:30 on a Tuesday night. After getting water we waited 15 minutes without being acknowledged by staff as they all hung out and talked at the end of the bar. At that point we had to order with the bartender who was a rockstar and ended up taking care of us the rest of the night do to fact that the rest of the staffs incompetent (ie our assigned waitress asking us an additional 15 minutes after we put in our order if we wanted to order).

Bring back the Quinoa salad!!! Hanging out on your patio by the greenbelt is no longer the same experience without that tasty dish on your menu. Super sad.
